Popular dessert in India made throughout the year especially on special and festive occasions.
1. Boil milk in a deep pan for 30mins on low flame by stirring occasionally so it thickens.
2. Fry vermicelli with little ghee, till it turns slightly brown.
3. Now fry dry fruits in little ghee and keep it aside.
4. Add vermicelli to milk and cook till it becomes soft followed by adding fried cashew nuts, raisins, pista, cardamom powder and sugar. Let the Kheer boil for 10-15 minutes and stir continuously.
