Varan Dosa
April 13, 2016

I love to make food on the go, especially for our lunch box. I love varan and sheeth (Goan dal and rice), but I don't like to deal with the spillage and all the other mess. So here is my way of enjoying varan without the hassle during lunch. It could be a quick and easy breakfast recipe as well. It is simply delicious!

Ingredients
left over varan
1.5   cup
rice flour
1   cup
water
1/2   cup
oil for frying
3   tablespoon
pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Here is the recipe for Varan if you are looking for it, see related recipes. In a mixing bowl, mix varan with salt, rice flour and water to form a smooth paste.

2. Heat a frying pan in the mean time. Add a few drops of oil and coat the frying surface. Pour a small amount of the batter. Cover and let it cook till the edges get crispy. Turn and cook on the other side. Serve these crispy dosas which taste exactly like sheeth varan with pickle!
