Kailoreo
April 19, 2015

Kailoreo are Goan dosas. Made with rice and coconut, usually it is lengthy process to make these, since you need to soak the rice overnight. One of my friends was kind enough to share this instant method of making them, which is useful in today's fast paced life. So all for the busy moms who want their kids to eat traditional breakfast but cannot make it because time is an issue, here is the recipe.

Ingredients
rice flour
1   cup
dessicated coconut
1   cup
salt
1/2   tablespoon
water
5   cup
oil
2   tablespoon
Instructions

1. In a mixer, take rice flour and coconut.

2. Add in the water and salt. Blend to make a thin batter.

3. Heat a pan and apply few drops of oil as shown. Pour the batter on the pan. The batter is very thin so you might have to move the pan to spread it.

4. Cover the kailore and cook for a few seconds. Then open the cover and cook for another few seconds to get a crispy bottom. These dosas unlike south indian dosa, are soft and a little thick. Serve hot with chutney, chanya ros or my favorite-chicken xacuti!
