Goan Crab Curry

Ingredients
cleaned crabs
2   pound
thinly sliced onion
1   cup
grated coconut
1.5   cup
oil
1   tablespoon
salt
1   tablespoon
turmeric
1/2   teaspoon
dry red chilies

corriander seeds
2   tablespoon
goan garam masala
2   tablespoon
garlic minced
2   tablespoon
red chili powder
1/2   teaspoon
coconut milk
1/2   cup
Instructions

1. Clean the crabs and set aside. Heat oil and add garlic and red chilies.

2. Add in the onion. Saute for a couple of minutes till onion is soft. Add in the coriander seeds, red chili powder, garam masala and turmeric powder.

3. Add in the coconut and saute for a couple of minutes. Turn the gas off and let the mixture cool. Grind the mixture with 1/2 cup coconut milk and 2.5 cups of water into a coarse paste.

4. Pour the paste into a vessel and add in the crabs. Add salt. Cover and cook till crabs are done. Serve hot with rice or pao (Goan bread)
