        Ingredients
       
 
       
          raw bananas 
        
 
        
          3   
        
 
       
          mustard seeds
        
 
        
          1/2   teaspoon
        
 
       
          curry leaves
        
 
        
          10-12   
        
 
       
          cooking oil
        
 
        
          2   tablespoon
        
 
       
          onion finely chopped

          piece ginger (1inch) finely chopped

          turmeric powder
        
 
        
          1/4   teaspoon
        
 
       
          asafoetida or hing
        
 
        
          1   pinch
        
 
       
          jeera seeds or cummins seeds
        
 
        
          1/2   teaspoon
        
 
       
          salt as per taste
        
 
        
          green chilli
        
 
        
          1-2   
        
 
       
          water

        Instructions
       
 
       1. Set aside all the ingredients.
2. Use a potato peeler and peel the banana skin and then chop them into circular pieces.
3. In a pan, add oil and let it heat. Add the onion and saute till translucent. Add the curry leaves and saute for a minute. the flavor of the curry leaves need to go into the oil. Add the mustard, jeera and ginger saute for a minute. add the banana.
4. Add turmeric, green chilli, asafoetida and half cup water and let it simmer. Enjoy a delicious and healthy treat.
