Ingredients
semolina or sooji
1   cup
ghee(clarified butter)[optional]
1/2   teaspoon
Instructions

1. Heat pan on medium to high flame and let it heat for 2 minutes. Put semolina in pan and lower the flame to medium flame and keep on stirring continuously to avoid burning.

2. After some time semolina will turn light brown. You can add ghee( clarified butter) to sooji in this step.

3. Roast until semolina turns medium brown in color. Sooj Sott is ready to serve. Serving Tips: Sott is always taken with chai. Put 1 or 2 teaspoon of Sott in a cup and then pour hot chai over it. Sott can be preserved upto months in an airtight box.
