1. Bake potatoes in microwave for 2 minutes. Peel off the skin of potatoes and grate with the help of a grater. Meanwhile chop spinach, green chili and coriander leaves very finely.
2. Now mix chopped spinach, grated potato, chopped green chili, lime juice, chopped coriander and salt in a plate. NOTE: To enhance the taste of tikkis, you can add roasted and finely chopped nuts in this mixture while making tikkis.
3. Heat oil in a pan on medium to high flame. Make patties out of the mixture.
4. Once you put patties in oil, turn the flame on medium flame. As soon as you see the brown color over one side, flip the patties and cook other side also. Make sure not to burn the patties. Serve hot with any spicy chutney or chai.
