Aloo Channa a simple wholesome curry

Ingredients
chole or kabulichanna
2   cup
large potatoes

large onion

large tomato
1  
cooking oil
2   tablespoon
green chillies
3  
small ball of tamarind
 
haldi
1/2   teaspoon
garam masala
1   teaspoon
salt to taste
 
coriander leaves for garnish
 
Instructions

1. Soak channa over night and then pressure cook them for at least 2 -3 whistles. Chop the onions and tomatoes into fine pieces. Half boil the potatoes. Then, peel and cut potato in to medium squares. Soak tamarind in water

2. Add the oil to pot, saute the onion and tomato till fully cooked. Add the spices, chillies and half boil potatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Then add channa. Add tamarind water and a cup of water and bring to boil

3. Cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes and garnish with fresh coriander leaves . Serve with rice or roti
