Ingredients
bhajani flour(bhajani is made from chana dal,rice, moog dal, udad dal, flatted rice , all roasted and mixed together and ground to flour )

red chili powder
1.5   tablespoon
salt

cooking oil

turmeric powder or haldi
1/2   tablespoon
coriander powder or dhania
1/2   tablespoon
cumin powder or jeera
1/2   tablespoon
sesame seeds
3   tablespoon
ajwain
1   tablespoon
water
2.5   cup
cooking oil ( for deep frying)
1   cup
Instructions

1. In a bowl mix, Bhajani flour red chili powder ,salt , coriander and cumin powder ,sesame seed, ajwain and turmeric powder. For those looking to make the bhajani flour from scratch. Here are the proportions: Rice ( Basmati /ambemohor / Dash brand rice ) : 1 kg. Gram dal( Chana Dal ) : 0.5 kg. Udad Dal :0.150 kg. Moong Dal : 0.100 kg. Thick Poha : 0.125 kg. Roast & mix together and ground to flour.

2. Heat 4 tablespoons cooking oil. Add to this mixture.Add boiled water to it and make a dough .

3. Take the dough in a Chakali maker and make circular patterns. It does take some practice to get the shapes correct.

4. Now deep fry the chakali in cooking oil till it gets golden brown color.

5. Enjoy the hot chakali
