Ingredients
lady fingers /okra
1/2 kilogram
onion

kokum

red chilly powder
1/2 teaspoon
cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon
salt to taste
garam masala
1 teaspoon
oil
4 tablespoon
Instructions
1. Cut the lady finger. In a pan add 3 tablespoon and saute the cut ladyfingers. This step helps with the stickiness of ladyfinger. Saute for for 4-5 minutes once the lady fingers brown, turn of the heat and set aside
2. in same pan, add oil. Once heated, add jeera. Then add finely chopped onion and saute till translucent. Then add tomato which is finely chopped and cook till soft. Then add red chilly, cumin, coriander and garam masala
3. Add the previously fried ladyfingers and add the kokum with water.Let it cook on slow flame for 8-10 minutes. The ladyfingers color changes from bright green to dull green.
