Bread Pudding

Tons of unused bread at home and not sure what to prepare. Try making bread pudding and it can be eaten as a dessert, a snack. Its simply to die for!

Ingredients
small bread
3  
sugar
6   teaspoon
ghee or butter
2   teaspoon
eggs
2  
milk
0.5   liter
water
2   teaspoon
nutmeg
1   pinch
Instructions

1. Make small pieces of bread, then soak it in the milk. Keep aside for 10 mins

2. Beat Egg with 4 teaspoon of sugar, 2 teaspoon butter and pinch of nutmeg powder. Add this mixture to the bread.

3. To make the caramel- Add the 2 teaspoon water and sugar in a vessel. Keep the vessel on slow flame. When the sugar starts turning brown. Remove from fire. Spread the caramel evenly on the vessel. Keep aside till cools.

4. Put the mixture of the pudding in the vessel containing the caramel. Cover with lid and steam it for 20 mins. Let it cool. Once cooled, turn it upside down in a plate.
