Pork seasoned with kokum to get a pickled sour flavour...

Ingredients
pork( including fat) ( i used lean pork because of availability)
1   pound
large onion cut long
1  
jeera or cummin seeds
1   teaspoon
peppercorns
10-12  
kokum
1/2   cup
cooking oil
1   teaspoon
palm vinegar
1/2   teaspoon
salt to taste
 
garlic -ginger paste
1   teaspoon
sugar
1   tablespoon
green chilli ( add more if you want more spicy)
1  
water
1/4   cup
Instructions

1. Cut the pork into cube including the fat. Add garlic -ginger paste,peppercorns, vinegar, salt , and sugar and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. In a pan on medium flame, add oil and let it heat. Add the onions and saute for 30 seconds. Add cumin seeds, green chillies and saute till onion are almost translucent. Add the marinated pork and stir continuously.

3. Add the kokum and a 1/4 cup water and let it boil. Let the meat cook for approximately 10 minutes.
