Sukke is a term used to describe any dry gravy item in Goa. Sungta sukke is a one pot recipe that is mostly served in Goan Hindu households.

Ingredients
prawns cleaned
1 cup
chopped onion
1/2 cup
grated coconut
1/2 cup
salt
3/4 teaspoon
turmeric
1 teaspoon
kashmiri chili powder
1 teaspoon
kokum pieces

green chilies

raw mango pieces (optional)
1/4 cup
chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup
Instructions
1. In a pot place prawns, onion, coconut, kokum, green chillies, raw mango, salt, turmeric and kashmiri red chili powder.
2. mix well, add 1/2 cup of water and cook till it comes to a boil.
3. Add cilantro and serve hot as an accompaniment to fish curry and rice, or enjoy with poli.
