Ingredients
basmati rice ( long grain)

Instructions

1. Cut the vegetables and set aside

2. Preparing Masala Grind all ingredients below and grind into a paste. Onions chopped(2),Garlic cloves(8 to 9), Ginger grated( 0.5), Green chili(3 to 4), Coriander leaves (3 tablespoons),Fresh grated Coconut(2 tablespoons),Red chili powder( 0.5 tablespoon), Turmeric powder(1 teaspoon), Coriander , Cumin powder(2 tea spoon), Garam masala(0.5 teaspoon) and Tomato chopped(2 medium)

3. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it for about 15 minutes. Add lime juice, salt, ghee( 1 teaspoon) ,cloves , bay leaves ,black pepper ,green cardamom to the soaked rice .Add 4 cups of boiled water and keep it for cooking in rice cooker. It takes 10 to 12 minutes to get rice cooked.

4. Separate rice grains with spatula/ fork once rice has cooled.

5. Fry the potato finger chips/french fries and onion slice till they get crispy. Also fry Cashews and raisins till golden brown color.

6. Half boil all vegetables with salt to it.

7. Roast masala in a pan for 4 to 5 minutes. Add boiled vegetables and roast for 3 to 4 minutes.

8. In a large bowl, put some cashews and raisins at the bottom.Add layer of rice on it .Then add layer of vegetable on rice , again give layer of rice . Again add vegetable layer .then add rice layer.

9. On top of it spread finger chips, fried sliced onion , cashews and raisins.

10. Enjoy this delicious biryani with Raita . Note while serving put the spoon all the way to the bottom to get all the layers.
