Here is a recipe of flat rice or fov cooked in milk. Another favorite during Diwali in Goa.
1. Wash the fov. Soak in water for about 3 minutes and then drain the water. Add milk to the flat rice and keep the vessel on a medium flame.
2. Add sugar and mix well. Let the mixture come to a boil. Then add cardamom powder.
3. Add salt when ready to turn the flame off. Give one last mix. Enjoy warm or cold.
