A common Bengali fish preparation in mustard paste
1. Sprinkle the fish with turmeric powder and little salt.
2. Make a paste of mustard seed , two green chili and little salt
3. Heat oil in a Kadhai , fry the fish and set aside in a dish.
4. Add kalonji in the hot oil, add mustard paste and turmeric powder, roast for 5-7 minutes
5. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 cup of water. Allow to boil for 5 minutes.
6. Add fried fishes and allow to boil till the water dries up.
