      Canned sardines are among one of the foods that Goans love. Avocado and sardine spread is a tangy, tasty healthy spread that you can serve with toasted bread or with chips and crackers.

        Ingredients
       
 
       
          cans of sardines in oil (3.75 oz can)
        
 
        
          2   
        
 
       
          avocados
        
 
        
          2   
        
 
       
          black pepper powder
        
 
        
          1   teaspoon
        
 
       
          lime juice
        
 
        
          3   tablespoon
        
 
       
          finely chopped onion
        
 
        
          3   tablespoon
        
 
       
          capers
        
 
        
          2   tablespoon
        
 
       
          salt
        
 
        
          1   pinch
        
 
       
        Instructions
       
 
       1. In a mixing bowl, take the sardine along with the oil. Add capers and black pepper powder to this.
2. Add salt, lemon juice and flesh of 2 avacadoes.
3. Mix everything well. Add in the onion and mix one more time.
4. Serve with crackers and chips, on a toasted bread or make a sandwich. Enjoy immediately.
