Among Goan cabbage is a very popular vegetable and like most Goan dishes we prepare it with coconut and spice.

Ingredients
cabbage ( chopped finely)
1   pound
coconut flakes or grated coconut
1/2   cup
mustard seeds
1   teaspoon
turmeric powder
1   pinch
water
1   cup
salt to taste
 
coriander powder or dhania
1   pinch
oil
1   tablespoon
onion
1  
tomato
1  
Instructions

1. In a pan add oil and heat. Then add the onions and saute till transcluent

2. Then add the tomato and saute futher

3. The add the cabbage, mustard seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder.

4. Then add the water and bring to boil.

5. Then add coconut flakes and let the water evaporate
