Ingredients
butter
1/4   cup
flour
1   cup
salt
1/2   teaspoon
cheddar cheese
6   ounce
ajwain (carom seeds)
1/2   teaspoon
chili flakes
1/2   teaspoon
dry basil powder
1/2   teaspoon
Instructions

1. To the cheddar cheese, add 1/2 teaspoon each of ajwain, chili flakes, salt and dry basil powder. You can add different spices based on your taste. Mix all together to make a dough.

2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes roll the dough using a rolling pin. The dough will be flaky so do not worry, try your best to roll it out evenly.

3. Cut the dough into squares. (You can make any shape of your kid's choice using a cookie cutter) Place the cut pieces on a cookie sheet and place in oven preheated at 350 degrees.

4. Bake till golden brown for 10-15 minutes. Let the crackers cool completely. Store in a air tight container and enjoy for up to 4 days. Can also be used as croutons with soup.
