        Ingredients
       
 
       
          water
        
 
        
          1/2   cup
        
 
       
          milk
        
 
        
          1.5   cup
        
 
       
          sugar
        
 
        
          2   tablespoon
        
 
       
          elaichi or cardamom
        
 
        
          8   
        
 
       
          tea powder
        
 
        
          1.5   tablespoon
        
 
       
        Instructions
       
 
       1. Crush the cardamom. Heat water. Add tea powder.
2. Add in the crushed cardamom. Add sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Add in the milk. Mix everything well. Bring the tea to a boil.
4. Once the tea comes to a boil, reduce the heat to a low simmer. Let it come to a boil again. Stir and let the tea boil for approximately 1.5 minutes. Strain the tea in a cup. Enjoy hot!
