Pomegranate potato chaat made with Indian spices, served as a snack.

1. Heat a pan on medium to high flame. Dry roast cumin seeds and peppercorns in pan. Meanwhile boil potatoes in another pan until soft inside.
2. Grind both of them in a mortar with the help of a pestle. Take pomegranate, chaat masala, chopped coriander leaves, fresh lemon, green chillies and black salt in a plate. NOTE: If you are out of India you can find chaat masala in any Indian Grocery Store.
3. When potatoes are boiled well, cut them in pieces. Heat oil in a pan and put cut potatoes in it and fry until medium brown in color.
4. Now in a wide bowl put all the spices( which are already in a plate except lemon juice). Add fried potatoes to it and mix very well. Serve hot with mint or coriander chutney and pour lemon juice over chaat when you are ready to eat. NOTE: As everyone has different taste, you can do additions and subtractions of above mentioned spices according to your taste.
