A simple and easy marathi curry eaten with Bhakri. This curry is made with Besan and Indian spices.

Ingredients
gram flour or besan
1/2   cup
water
1.5   cup
cooking oil
3   tablespoon
green chilli and garlic crushed
1/2   teaspoon
salt
1/2   teaspoon
coriander leaves
2   tablespoon
mustard seeds
1   teaspoon
cumin seeds or jeera seeds
1   teaspoon
turmeric powder or haldi
1   teaspoon
asafetida powder or hing
1   teaspoon
coriander and cumin powder( dhania-jeera)
1   teaspoon
Instructions

1. Set aside all ingredients

2. Take gram flour in a bowl. Add Turmeric powder ½ tea spoon, Salt , cumin and coriander powder to it. Make a batter by adding water in it.

3. Heat frying pan and add oil. Add Mustard seeds , Cumin seeds , Turmeric powder ,and asafetida. Add crushed green chilli and garlic once mustard seeds and cumin seeds start spluttering.

4. Add Besan batter into fry pan. Cook it for 5 minutes. Pitla (Besan) is ready to be served with bhakri and thecha
