Ingredients
sliced onion
2   cup
sliced tomatoes
3   cup
garlic cloves
5  
coconut oil
1   tablespoon
mustard seeds
1   teaspoon
green chilies cut lengthwise
2  
sugar
3.5   teaspoon
salt
1.25   teaspoon
turmeric
1/2   teaspoon
kashmiri chili powder
1/2   teaspoon
water
1/2   cup
Instructions

1. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds once oil is hot. Let them splutter. Add in the garlic and green chilies. Saute till the garlic begins to brown.

2. Add in the sliced onion and salt. Saute till translucent.

3. Add the tomatoes. Also add in the sugar, turmeric, red chili powder and 1/2 cup of water.

4. Cover and let it cook till the tomatoes are soft. Serve hot with chapati or dosa.
