Ukkadilli Tandlam Godh Bhakri

This bhakri is usually served during Sankranthi. It is a healthy alternative to bread and tastes great with any Goan curry.

Ingredients
ghee
1   tablespoon
parboiled rice or ukde taandul
1/2   cup
coconut
1/2   cup
jaggery
2   tablespoon
salt
1/2   tablespoon
water
3/4   cup
Instructions

1. Wash and soak parboiled rice overnight. In the morning, discard the water. Then grind it into a coarse paste with 1/4 cup water. Remove in a bowl. Add freshly graded coconut and 1/4 cup water. Grind this into a coarse paste as well. Add this to the same bowl. Add jaggery and salt and mix well.

2. Grease a deep steal plate with ghee and place in an idli maker with water at the bottom to steam. Pour the above mixture in the plate and cover. Steam for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
