1. Boil rice in 4 cups of water to cook rice.
2. Heat oil and add cashew nuts, mustard seeds, chana dal and red chillies and heat for a minute and take off heat.
3. Mix curd with one cup water and add to cooked rice.
4. Add the vegetables and the fried ingredients to the mixed rice and mix well. Cool it down and serve with pickle.
