A simple and easy recipe to make Spicy and Tangy Lime pickle which can be enjoyed as a side.

1. Cut lemons into small pieces.
2. Add oil to frying pan, Let it heat and then add fenugreek seeds and saute till the colour changes to dark brown. Let the fenugreek seeds cool. Grind the fenugreek seeds in a mortar and pestle.
3. Add the lemon to a pressure cooker and cook lemons for around 10 minutes(approximately 2 whistles)
4. Mix the red chili powder,salt,sugar, fenugreek seeds (previously ground) and turmeric powder with the cooked lemon pieces. The Pickle is ready. Note: For using during fasts do not add Turmeric powder & Fenugreek (Methi dana) . Additionally, you could add crushed Ginger to the lemons, it gives a good flavour and is also good for health.
