Sweet corn and Moong dal Pakoda

Pakodas made from sweet corn, flattened rice and moong dal pakoda. This is a prefect comfortfood.

Ingredients
split yellow gram/ moong dal
2   cup
flattened rice /thick poha
4   tablespoon
sweet corns
0.5   cup
green chili
6  
inch ginger chopped
1/2  
garlic cloves
5  
cumin seeds
1   teaspoon
turmeric powder
1   teaspoon
sugar
.5   tablespoon
tomato ketchup
2   tablespoon
salt to taste
 
coriander leaves chopped (optional)
 
oil for deep frying
 
Instructions

1. Soak Moong Dal in water for 3 hours. Drain the water and put in a blender. Wash the flattened rice thoroughly, drain water and add to a blender. Add 50 % corn in food processor. Also add green chili, garlic, ginger, salt, cumin seed, Turmeric powder and sugar. Grind it till a paste is formed.

2. Move to a bowl and add remaining corn and Mix it thoroughly.

3. Heat oil in fry pan / Kadhai and put small balls of mixture for frying. Fry it till it gets golden brown color and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
