The secret of this dish is use of jaggery instead of sugar. A popular breakfast or tea time snack.

Ingredients
semolina ( rawa )
1.5   cup
jaggery
1.25   cup
water
1.5   cup
ghee
4   tablespoon
green cardamom powder
1/2   teaspoon
almonds chopped
5-6  
cashews chopped
5-6  
Instructions

1. Heat ghee in frying pan. Add semolina once ghee is hot. Stir the semolina till it is golden brown in color.

2. Take water in bowl and add grated jaggery to it. Heat the mixture till jaggery dissolves in water. Mix Jaggery water in roasted semolina by sieving it .

3. Heat the mixture for around 5 minutes, till the water is dissolved and put the lid on the pan.

4. Mix in the Cardamom powder and stir well. Garnish with chopped Cashew nuts and Almonds. Shira is Ready to serve .
