A yummy sweet dish made from Sooji or ravawith coconut and ghee. This is eaten during festivals and special occasions.

Ingredients
rava or sooji or semolina
1.5 cup
sugar
1.25 cup
water
1 cup
ghee or clarified butter
4 tablespoon
whole coconut
1
cardamom powder
1 teaspoon
milk
1/2 cup
Instructions
1. Grate the coconut.
2. Mix the grated coconut and rava in a frying pan, add 3 tablespoon ghee and saute till the color changes to golden and set aside.
3. In a pan mix water, sugar , ghee ( 1 tablespoon ) & milk and stir continuously to make syrup
4. Mix syrup to the previously roasted rava and mix thoroughly. Add Cardamom powder.
5. Once mixture is warm make lemon sized balls and set aside for couple of hours. Raisin, Cashew Nuts may be added while making Laddoos.
